Indian Market: Sensex moves up 696.81 points
Mumbai: The BSE Sensex on Tuesday bounced back by 696.81 points to close at 57,989.30 following gains in technology, IT and energy stocks.
The Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) surged 197.90 points at 17,315.50.
The Sensex registered the day's high and low at 58,052.87 and 56, 930.30 points respectively.
The Nifty recorded the day's high and low at 17,334.40 and 17,006.30 respectively.
