Indian Market: Sensex down 243.62 points
Mumbai/UNI: The BSE Sensex on Tuesday dropped 243.62 points to close at 47,705.80 as selling was seen in IT, Technology, Finance, Materials and FMCG stocks.
The Nifty too fell by 63.05 points to 14,296.40.
The sensex registered day's high and low at 48,478.34 and 47,438.50 points respectively.
The Nifty recorded day's high and low at 14,526.95 and 14,207.30 pts respectively.
