Indian Market: Sensex crashes 1016.84 pts

Mumbai: The BSE Sensex on Friday tanked 1016.84 pts to settle at 54,303.44 on weak global cues.

The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too slid 276.30 pts to close at 16,201.80.

The Sensex registered the day's high and low at 54,780.78 and 54,205.99 pts respectively.

The Nifty recorded the day's high and low at 16,324.70 and 16,172.60 respectively.
