Indian Market: Sensex bounces back over 400 pts
Mumbai: The BSE Sensex on Wednesday jumped 433 pts at 66,789.50 as buying was seen across the board.
The Nifty too rose 126 pts at 19,806.65.
The Midcap gained 0.33 pc and the Smallcap by 0.48 pc.
In 30 scrips, 27 advanced while 3 declined.
The gainers were L& T by 3.88 pc to Rs 2661.35, Reliance Industries by 2.02 c to Rs 2530.10, ITC by 1.47 pc to Rs 469, Tata Motors by 1.34 pc to Rs 648 and Sun Pharma by 0.99 pc to Rs 1104.20.
The losers were NTPC by 0.30 pc to Rs 200.05, HDFC Bank by 0.28 pc to Rs 1691.60 and Asian Paints by 0.03 pc to Rs 3399.05.
