Indian market recovers to positive territory on Tuesday
Mumbai, Dec 13 (IBNS): Indian equity benchmarks managed to extend their gains on Tuesday largely led by index heavyweights and ended higher at close of business.
BSE Sensex was up 182.58 points at 26697.82 and NSE Nifty was up 51 points at 8221.80.
Some of the key stocks that gained were Tata Motors, Adani Ports, Axis Bank, Wipro and Reliance while BHEL, GAIL, Tata Steel, Lupin and HUL declined.
