Indian market ends day and week on positive note

Mumbai, Apr 13 (IBNS): The Indian market closed positive on Friday, with BSE Sensex up 91.52 points at 34192.65 and NSE Nifty up 21.90 points at 10480.60.

Top gainers included Adani Ports, Tech Mahindra, Kotak Mahindra, Wipro, Coal India, Dr reddy's Labs, Hindalco and Eicher Motors while BPCL, Bajaj Finserv, HCL Tech, Idea Cellular, SBI, Ye Bank, Maruti Suzuki and Axis Bank were some of the key stocks that declined.

Meanwhile, according to media reports, Hindustan Unilever (HUL) has accused three of it  former employees of data theft and lodged a complaint with the Bombay High Court.

Infosys, India's second largest software firm, is expected to declare its fourth quarter (March quarter) earnings later on Friday.
