Mumbai, Feb 26 (IBNS) The Indian market has dropped and ended on a negative note on Thursday.

The BSE Sensex dropped 261 points or 0.90 percent to stand at 28,746.65 points.

The Nifty moved down by 83.40 points to finish 8,683.85 points.
