Indian market closes negative on Wednesday
Mumbai, Sep 20 (IBNS): The Indian market closed on negative note on Wednesday, with BSE Sensex down 1.86 points at 32,400.51 and NSE Nifty down 6.40 points at 10,141.15.
According to media reports, investors are awaiting the outcome of the Federal Reserve Monetary Policy Meeting later on Wednesday.
Top gainers on Wednesday included Dr Reddy's Labs, Bank of Baroda, Tata Steel, ITC, ONGC, Wipro and SBI while Hero Motocorp, Idea Cellular, BPCL, Tata Motors, Sun Pharma, HUL and ICICI Bank declined.
