Indian market closes flat on Wednesday after rallying on Tuesday
Mumbai, Mar 15 (IBNS): After a superb run on Tuesday, Indian benchmark indices closed on a flat note on Wednesday with BSE Sensex down 44.52 points at 29,398.11 and NSE Nifty downl 2.20 points at 9,084.80.
According to reports, the market remained cautious ahead of the GST Council meet on Thursday and US Federal Reserve's meeting.
Key stocks that gained on Wednesday were BHEL, Hero Motocorp, Tata Steel, Reliance, Bank of Baroda and SBI while TCS, Infosys, HUL, Wipro, HCL Tech and Coal India were some of the top stocks that declined.
