Indian benchmark indices end positive on Monday
Mumbai, Apr 3 (IBNS): The Indian market began the week on positive note, with BSE Sensex closing at at 29910.22, up 289.72 points, and NSE Nifty closing at 9237.85, up 64.10 points, on Monday.
A surge in foreign investments in March boosted investor sentiment, market reports said.
Key stocks that gained on Monday were Larsen & Toubro, Reliance, Dr Reddy's Labs, ICICI Bank, BHEL and HDFC while Bharti Airtel, BPCL, Wipro, Infosys, Bajaj Auto, InudsInd Bank and NTPC were the key losers.
