IDE to host 12th edition Hotelier Summit India and 3rd edition of HLICA in Mumbai

Mumbai, May 4 (IBNS): The World Travel and Tourism Council forecasts Indian tourism sector to grow at annual average growth rate of 7 per cent over the next ten years.

The Indian tourism and hospitality industry has emerged as one of the key drivers of growth among the services sector in India. It continues to grow on the back of an expanding middle class, infrastructure development, increase in international tourist arrivals and the extension of e-Tourist Visa to 150 countries.

However, the hotel business is sensitive to economic cycles. Over the past nine years (FY2008-FY2016), the sector has been in a state of flux—starting from the FY2008 peak to a trough in FY2010, a brief pickup in FY2011 and downhill till it bottomed out in FY2015-2016. After strong headwinds from an adverse demand environment and excess room inventory, the situation has improved over the past 12 months with the pace of room addition slowing down and domestic demand being supportive.

In this complex background, to be on top of the game, IDE Consulting Services, a real estate solutions company, will be hosting the 12th Edition Hotelier Summit India on June 6th and 7th in the Sahara Star Hotel, Mumbai.

The summit is the ideal one stop B2B platform for the hospitality professionals across the country.

A pan India initiative aimed at enhancing the procurement processes by bringing together leading hotel owners, operators, developers, architects, interior designers, consultants, industry experts and service providers for pre-scheduled face-to-face meetings, interactive conference agenda and five-star networking activities.

Ganesh Babu, Director, IDE Consulting Services said, “With the advent of the GST and the implementation of the RERA, the real estate sector in India is on the cusp of a major shake-up. As a real estate solutions company, we are in a unique position to assist all industry stakeholders to conquer the chaos, and emerge unscathed from the imminent regulatory overhaul”

The highlight of the summit is the 3rd Edition Hospitality Leaders’ Industry Choice Awards. The most salient feature of the summit is the voting process, which empowers the voters and keeps the entire voting process transparent.

Decided by the hospitality fraternity professionals themselves, the awards will be present in a total of 14 categories.  The much awaited event that would recognize and celebrate the stalwart performers of the industry promises to be an exciting one.

This year’s edition of the Hotelier summit would again have eminent speakers and leaders from the industry set to share the story behind the most successful hotel projects. The summit will see participation from close to 80 Suppliers and over 150 Buying Companies.
