HCL Software to acquire Robotiq.ai in major push to expand AI automation
HCLSoftware, the software business division of HCLTech, on Tuesday announced its intent to acquire Robotiq.ai, a Zagreb, Croatia-based provider of an enterprise Robotic Process Automation (RPA) platform.
HCLSoftware said the proposed acquisition comes amid growing enterprise demand for AI systems that can not only reason but also reliably execute tasks across complex business environments.
Robotiq.ai’s RPA capabilities will enable AI-driven workflows to automate tasks within applications where APIs are unavailable or insufficient. According to HCLSoftware, this will extend the capabilities of HCL UnO Agentic, its orchestration platform, from decision-making to execution.
Robotiq.ai’s RPA platform is used by large banks, insurance companies and telecom providers. The platform features ISO-certified security, audit logs and flexible deployment options, designed to support secure and reliable enterprise automation.

The proposed acquisition is expected to close in November 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
