French milk brand Lactel enters India

Chennai/IBNS: Lactel, a leading milk brand from France and with markets across the globe, has recently entered India.

Their UHT (ultra high temperature processing) toned milk 1 Litre packet is available at an MRP of Rs 70.

Lactel UHT milk comes fortified with Vitamin A & D, the company said in a release.

Groupe Lactalis, a family owned company founded in 1933, has had a strong involvement in the Indian dairy industry since 2014, when it acquired the Thirumala company, followed by Anik and Prabhat in 2016 and 2018, respectively.

The Lactel brand was introduced in 1967.
