Birla Sun Life Mutual opens new branch in north Kolkata

Kolkata, Sept 8 (IBNS): Birla Sun Life Asset Management Company Limited, a part of Aditya Birla Financial Services Group (ABFSG), and investment manager for Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund (BSLMF) on Thursday announced the opening of its first, full-service branch at Kolkata's Kestopur in West Bengal.

Speaking about the launch A. Balasubramanian, CEO, Birla Sun Life Asset Management Company Limited said, “We are pleased to strengthen our presence in Kestopur which is witnessing brisk economic development. There is a steady rise in retail interest for Mutual Funds from Kestopur and adjoining areas of Rajarhat and Salt Lake. We are certain that our presence will help us tap the potential of this market and expand our presence in West Bengal in line with our growth strategy.”

The Kestopur Branch will cater to the financial investment needs of the region’s retail and institutional investors, and distribution partners.

It will also showcase BSLMF’s product andservice offerings to a whole new set of potential customers.
