Mumbai: The Rupee remained negative on Friday too, as it dropped 11 paise to close at 82.87 on brisk demand for US Dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at the Foreign Exchange said.
The local unit that was slipped seven paise at 82.83 in early trade, and lost further and finished at 82.87 plummeted 11 paise as compared to its previous close.
The Rupee recorded intra days high and low at 81.81 and 82.93 respectively.
