Indian Market: Sensex down 508.62 pts

Mumbai: The BSE Sensex on Tuesday dropped further by 508.62 points to settle at 53,886.61 as selling was seen in Technology, Metal, Auto and IT stocks.

The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too slipped 157.70 points at 16,058.30.

The Sensex registered days high and low at 54,236.49 and 53,824.97 points respectively.

The Nifty recorded days high and low at 16,158.75 and 16,031.15 respectively.
