Pakistani women storm into DI Khan grid station to demonstrate against prolonged power cut

A large number of women, who were demonstrating against prolonged powercut, stormed into a grid station in DI Khan region of Pakistan recently, media reports said on Wednesday.

Women in DI Khan led a protest against prolonged loadshedding, blocking the grid station and roads to express their frustration, reported ARY News.

The protesting women claimed the Pakistani city is facing 20-22 hours of loadshedding daily, making life unbearable.

Crticising the government, they said the  Governor and Chief Minister are sitting in their air-conditioned offices while the general public suffers.
