Pakistan: Hindu businessman kidnapped, kidnappers demand ransom of Rs. 5 crores

A Hindu businessman, named Jagdish Kumar Mukki, was kidnapped from Bakshapur area of Sindh’s Kashmore district of Pakistan by unknown persons while returning home.

He was kidnapped after closing the shop around 8 pm on June 20.

A report was filed by his family at Kashmore PS on 21.06.2023 and with Karachi Police Hqrs on 23.06.2023 with the help of Pakistan DarawarIttehad’s chief Fakir Shiva Kachhi.

On July 31, a video was received by Jagdish Kumar’s son Naresh Kumar where the former could be seen chained in neck, hands and legs, and being beaten by sticks with an automatic weapon aimed on his head.

In the video the kidnapped victim is pleading with his kidnappers for mercy, while asking his family to pay the bandits Rs. 5 crores for his release.
