The explosion reportedly took place near a railway track as the train was passing through the region.

The blast caused significant casualties among those on board.

Authorities have not yet released full details on the nature of the explosion or the group responsible for the attack.

Heavy Casualties Reported

A senior official confirmed that at least 24 people were killed in the incident, making it one of the deadliest recent attacks in the region.

Several others are believed to have been injured, though an exact figure has not yet been confirmed.

Security Response Underway

Security forces have cordoned off the area and launched an investigation into the blast. Emergency teams were deployed to assist in rescue and recovery operations along the damaged railway line.
