Roger Federer to meet Stan Wawrinka in the semis

Melbourne, Jan 24 (IBNS): Swiss master Roger Federer and Stan Wawrinka will meet in the semi-finals of the Australian Open.

Federer defeated Mischa Zverev of Germany 6-1 7-5 6-2 in the quarter-finals clash.

The German had created a shock when he defeated Andy Murray on Sunday.

Wawrinka beat Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 7-6 (7-2) 6-4 6-2 in the other round to cruise to the semi-finals.
