BCCI congratulates Team India (Women) on reaching ICC Women’s World Cup final

Mumbai, July 21 (IBNS): The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday hailed the performance of Team India (Women) after the team made it to the final of ICC Women’s World Cup 2017.

The BCCI would like to congratulate Ms. Mithali Raj and her team for showing consistency in their performances in the tournament so far. A special mention to all-rounder Harmanpreet Kaur, who played a memorable knock (171* off 115 balls) and got the team through to the final.

The BCCI would also like to wish the Indian team the very best for the Final match against England on Sunday, July 23.

Indian women defeated Australia to reach the final of the tournament.
