Andre Russell given one-year anti-doping whereabouts ban
Antigua, Feb 1 (IBNS): Failing to make his whereabouts known to anti-doping testers, West Indies cricketer Andre Russell has been banned for a year.
He had reportedly failed to file his whereabouts on three separate occasions in 2015.
"That amounts to a failed drug test under World Anti-Doping Agency rules and his suspension comes into effect from 31 January," BBC reported.
The West Indian was a part of the West Indies side that lifted the T20 World Cup in 2016.
