Mumbai, Mar 6 (IBNS): Bollywood superstars Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif have wrapped up shooting for their upcoming Hindi film Bharat, which is scheduled to release in mid-2019.

Kaif took to Instagram to share an image where she could be seen with her co-star Khan.

"...its been the most incredible & exciting character for me, the whole process of making this film has been so inspiring," the actress said thanking Khan, director Ali Abbas Zafar and producer Atul Agnihotri.

Kaif, incidentally, got an opportunity to work with Khan in this film after iconic actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas walked out of the project.

Khan and Kaif had worked together in a number of films in the past. They were last seen together in Tiger Zinda Hai, which released in 2017.

Bharat is slated for June 2019 release.
