Ranveer Singh's Simmba earns Rs. 124 crore in five days

Mumbai, Jan 2 (IBNS): Actor Ranveer Singh's Simmba has touched the Rs. 124 crore mark in just five days.

The movie released on Friday and since then it has been attracting moviegoers to theatre.

It was the last major release of 2018.

Speaking on the Box Office collection of the film, film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted: " #Simmba starts 2019 with a big bang... Runs riot at the BO on Day 5 [1 Jan 2019]... Is truly UNSTOPPABLE... Ranveer’s fourth film to cross ₹ 100 cr mark... Fri 20.72 cr, Sat 23.33 cr, Sun 31.06 cr, Mon 21.24 cr, Tue 28.19 cr. Total: ₹ 124.54 cr. India biz ."

The movie also features actor Sara Ali Khan in the lead role.

She made her Bollywood debut last month in Kedarnath.

Sara is the daughter of Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan.
