Race 3 records highest opening collection of 2018

Mumbai, Jun 16 (IBNS): Bollywood superstar Salman Khan starrer film Race 3 has recorded the highest opening collection of 2018.

The film earned Rs. 29.17 cr on Friday.

Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#Race3 records a GIGANTIC START, despite pre-Eid making a dent in its business... Emerges the BIGGEST OPENER of 2018 [so far]... Fri ₹ 29.17 cr. India biz... With #Eid festivities commencing today [Sat], #Race3 is expected to post MASSIVE NUMBERS."

Apart from Salman, the movie features Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Saquib Saleem and Daisy Shah.

Salman and Jacqueline have united for a film for the first time since 2014.

The two had last worked in Kick.

The movie has been directed by Remo D’Souza.
