Makers release trailer of John Abraham's Batla House

Mumbai, July 10 (IBNS): Makers of upcoming Bollywood movie Batla House, featuring John Abraham in the lead role, released the trailer of the film on Wednesday.

Sharing the trailer of the film, critic Taran Adarsh tweeted: "Was the nation prejudiced or was it really a fake encounter? The questions will finally be answered. #BatlaHouseTrailer out now. http://bit.ly/BatlaHouse_OfficialTrailer …@mrunal0801 @ravikishann @nikkhiladvani @writish @TSeries @EmmayEntertain @johnabrahament @bakemycakefilms."

Directed by Nikkhil Advani, the film is set to release on August 15 on the occasion of Independence Day.

The film is based on the Batla House encounter case that took place on September 19, 2008.  John will be seen as DCP Sanjeev Kumar Yadav.

Actress Mrunal Thakur has played the role of Yadav's wife in the film.
