Kareena Kapoor Khan starts filming for Meghna Gulzar's Daayra

Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood superstar Kareena Kapoor Khan on Thursday kicked off her shooting for Hindi film, Daayra.

Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film features Prithviraj Sukuraman in the co-lead.

On the inaugural day of her shooting, Kareena shared a BTS video on Instagram writing, "Day 1. 68th film Daayra with the most amazing @meghnagulzar and @therealprithvi … Send love and blessings."

After Talvar and Raazi, Meghna joined hands with Junglee Pictures for Daayra which is poised to become a crime thriller.

Meghna is also known for films like Chhapaak, Sam Bahadur.

Kareena last year featured in two crime thrillers, Jaane Jaan and The Buckingham Murders.

Daayra is co-written by Yash and Sima.
