Karan Johar turns nostalgic as album release of KKHH turns 20 years

Mumbai, Aug 13 (IBNS): Filmmaker Karan Johar on Monday turned nostalgic as 20 years have passed since the music album of his directorial debut movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai released on this date.

"20 years ago on this date we released the music of KKHH! Thank you @sonymusicindia for being our melody and soul partners for the past two decades! ," Johar tweeted.

Sony Music India, the company which had released the album, tweeted: "An album that will remain etched in our hearts forever! Celebrating #20YearsOfKKHHAlbum. @karanjohar @iamsrk @KajolAtUN #RaniMukerji @DharmaMovies

  Released in 1998, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai was one of the biggest hits of the year.

It was written and directed by Karan Johar.

The movie featured Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukherji in the lead roles.

Salman Khan also had an extended-cameo appearance in the movie.
