Esha Deol, husband Bharat Takhtani confirm separation after 11 years of marriage

Bollywood actress Esha Deol, who is the daughter of veteran actors Hema Malini and Dharmendra, on Wednesday said she has mutually and amicably decided to part ways with her husband Bharat Takhtani.

In a joint statement issued by the couple as quoted by Hindustan Times: "We have mutually and amicably decided to part ways. Through this shift in our lives, the best interests and welfare of our two children is and will be of utmost importance to us. We’d appreciate our privacy is respected."

Separation after 11 years of togetherness

Esha and businessman Bharat Takhtani tied the knot in 2012.

They are parents to daughters Miraya and Radhya.

Esha Deol's Bollywood journey

Esha Deol made her acting debut in the romantic thriller Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe in 2002.

Esha Deol had success in the political film Aayutha Ezhuthu (2004), the horror film Kaal (2005), the action thrillers Dhoom (2004) and Dus (2005), and the comedy No Entry (2005).

She returned to acting with the streaming series Rudra: The Edge of Darkness (2022) and Hunter Tootega Nahi Todega (2023).
