Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar admitted to hospital

Mumbai, Oct 8 (IBNS): Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar has been admitted to hospital on Sunday.

According to an official tweet posted on his account, the actor is suffering from recurrent pneumonia.

Kumar's family friend Faisal Farooqui shared the news and tweeted via Kumar's official account: "Want to inform you @TheDilipKumar has been admitted to hospital last night. He's being treated for recurrent pneumonia. Praying...will keep you updated on twitter. --FF (@faisalMouthshut)."

Dilip Kumar is known for acting in some memorable Bollywood movies like  "Kohinoor", "Mughal-e-Azam", "Shakti", "Naya Daur" and "Ram Aur Shyam".
