Ayushmann Khurrana feels 'truly humbled' for winning National Awards, congratulates Uri star Vicky Kaushal

Mumbai, Aug 10 (IBNS): Bollywood sensation Ayushmann Khurrana on Saturday said winning the National Award was a 'truly humbling and gratifying' moment for him.

Ayushmann and his films rocked the current editions of the award whose winners were announced on Friday.

Ayushmann shared the Best Actor award with Vicky Kaushal (Uri).

"Winning a National Award is truly humbling and gratifying. I’m forever grateful for the love I’ve received! Also, a big hug and congratulations to my bro @vickykaushal09 ," Ayushmann tweeted expressing his feelings as well as wishing his industry colleague Vicky.

He also wished Badhaai Ho and Andha Dhun' makers for winning awards.

His movie Badhaai Ho earned the award under the category of 'Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment'.

'Andhadhun', the thriller which featured Ayushmann in the lead role, won the Best Hindi movie award.

Uri: The Surgical Strike director Aditya Dhar grabbed the best director award.

Akshay Kumar shined once again as his Padman won the Best Film on Social Issues award.
