Mumbai, Apr 12 (IBNS): Bollywood's veteran actor Anupam Kher on Thursday shared a video from his upcoming film The Accidental Prime Minister on social media.

Kher is playing the role of former Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh in the movie.

Kher captioned the video saying, "This clip was sent to me by various people. So someone captured it & posted it while I was rehearsing. It is from our shoot of #TheAccidentalPrimeMinister in UK. So instead of you finding it on various platforms I am happy to share it with you all myself."

The film is slated to release on Dec 21.

Singh became the PM of the country in 2004 quite surprisingly as then Congress President Sonia Gandhi was the fore runner to assume the post.

He had served as the PM for 10 years.
