Air pollution: Dia Mirza targets BCCI for giving green signal to India-Bangladesh clash in New Delhi

Mumbai/New Delhi/IBNS: Bollywood actress Dia Mirza on Thursday attacked the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for giving a green signal to the T20 International clash between India and Bangladesh to be played in New Delhi where air pollution level has hit alarming level.

After Diwali celebrations in the national capital, air pollution in the city deteriorated with Air Quality Index (AQI) levels crossing 400.

The BCCI has confirmed that the T20 match will be held in the national capital on Nov 3.

Dia tweeted: " It is baffling that the @BCCI has decided to go ahead with the T20 match despite the AQI’s severe 412! This complete denial of the hazards of exposing ourselves to pollution is what cripples our ability to seek and implement swift solutions. #MyRightToBreathe #BreatheLife."
