Virat Kohli adds new records to his name during second innings against Australia

Adelaide, Dec 8 (IBNS): Indian captain Virat Kohli has completed 2000 runs as skipper during the second innings of the opening Test match against Australia.

Kohli scored a watchful 34 runs off 104 deliveries.

He was looking in good touch on Saturday.
He was dismissed by Nathan Lyon just before stumps on the third day of the match.
No other Indian player has achieved this feat in their careers so far.
 

Kohli also scored 1000 Test runs in Australia.

He joined the elite list of cricketers in this list which include names like Sachin Tendulkar (1809), VVS Laxman (1236) and Rahul Dravid (1143).
