Varsha Gautham and Sweta Shervegar win silver medal in Asian Games

Jakarta, Aug 31 (IBNS):  Varsha Gautham and Sweta Shervegar won a silver medal in the 49er FX women sailing competition of the ongoing Asian Games here on Friday.

Another Indian player Harshita Tomar clinched bronze in the Open Laser 4.7 category of the tournament.

Scoring a total of 44 points and 40 net points, Varsha and Sweta settled in the second position of the competition.

The gold medal was won by Singapore's Min Kimberly Lim and Rui Qi Cecilia Low.

Thailand's Nichpa Waiwai and Kamonchanok Klahan settled for the bronze medal.

Harshita scored a total 62 points and 50 net points to win the bronze medal.
