Starc named Man of the Tournament
Melbourne, Mar 29 (IBNS): Australian bowler Mitchell Starc Man of the Tournament as Australia defeated New Zealand to win the World Cup for the fifth time on Sunday.
He has taken 22 wickets in the tournament.
Australian all-rounder James Faulkner has been adjudged the Man of the Match for his performance in the final match of the tournament
He took three wickets in the match.
He said: "We've had an amazing journey the last couple of years."
Indian batting icon Sachin Tendulkar handed over the awards to the winners.
