Mumbai/IBNS: Indiana all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja played a crucial knock in the third ODI match against West Indies which helped the homeside win the series and this knock even left BCCI chief Sourav Ganguly impressed.

Ganguly tweeted: "Another win @bcci  ...congratulations..good performances with the bat in a pressure game..jadeja s improvement with the bat so important."

In the high-scoring third ODI match in Cuttack, Jadeja hammered unbeaten on 39 off 31 balls to reach the target for India.

Jadeja scored several memorable knocks in ODIs in recent times.

He will be remembered for the World Cup semi-final knock against New Zealand this year where he tried to take India to a comfortable zone with MS Dhoni after the top order toppled.

India, however, failed to win that match.

Jadeja shined on Sunday and ensured a four-wicket victory for India against World T20 Champions.
