Rio: Canada, India manage 2-2 draw

Rio de Janeiro, Aug 12 (IBNS): India players managed a draw with Canada in a group stage match of the Hockey event of the ongoing Rio Olympics here on Friday.

India and Canada sacored 2-2 to manage a draw at the end of the clash.

Akashdeep Singh and Ramandeep scored goals to make India 2-0 up in the clash.
However, it was Scott Tupper, who hit the net twice, as Canada leveled the scoreline 2-2.

India are currently at the third spot in the group.

The match between Argentina and Ireland will decide the final spot on the table.
