Kohli fastest to score 11,000 run in ODIs, surpasses Tendulkar's record

Manchester, Jun 16 (UNI): Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli today reached another milestone in his ODI career becoming the fastest player to reach 11,000 runs bettering cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar's record.

Kohli achieved the feat in 222 innings while Tendulkar had taken 276.

The Indian skipper is the third Indian and ninth in the world to score 11,000 ODI runs.

India scored 305 losing four wickets at the end of 46.4 overs when rain stopped play.

The teams have now resumed play with the rain having stopped.
