'Kingfisher Bowl Out' gives KKR fans chance to bowl out their favourite cricketers

Kolkata, May 4 (IBNS): Kingfisher Premium-The King of Good Times, presented cricketing fans a once in a lifetime opportunity to live their dream at the Kingfisher Bowl Out Season 6, which continued here at Kolkata on Thursday.

Taking the cricket frenzy and excitement forward, Kingfisher gave select 25 lucky fans a chance to bowl to three of their favourite cricketers from the Kolkata Knight Riders team- Manish Pandey, Darren Bravo and Chris Woakes.

Fans witnessed their cricketing icons in action, as they brought forward their best bowling skills in an attempt to get them out. 25 winners were selected through contests which took place through an on-ground and online activation.

Each contestant was made to bowl three deliveries to their cricketers and stood a chance of winning exciting Kingfisher merchandise and the ultimate Prize - Match tickets. The huge crowd which had gathered at the venue went ballistic with each delivery bowled and were seen cheering both the contestants and the Cricketers alike.

Commenting on the occasion, Samar Singh Sheikhawat, Senior Vice President - Marketing, United Breweries Limited said, “Kingfisher Premium has been the Good Times partner for a decade since the inception of this particular T20 format of the game. Through multiple activations during the cricketing season we try to capture the essence of what the brand stands for with our acclaimed campaign - ‘Divided by Teams, United by Kingfisher’. The concept of Kingfisher Bowl Out was created to give our consumers a highly engaging experience which allows them to not only interact with their favourite players but to enjoy cricket in a different manner by actually playing with them.”

The players were seen displaying their fine technique batting off the pitch and having a delightful time at the Bowl Out. To the fans who could not make it to the Bowl Out, Kingfisher added further excitement by hosting a Facebook live session, where cricket enthusiasts interacted with their favourite players on Kingfisher’s Facebook page.

Interacting with enthusiastic fans from the city. Kingfisher Bowl Out has received an overwhelming response with a huge turnout.

The Kingfisher Bowl Out is scheduled to take place across seven cities – Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Delhi, Chandigarh and Bangalore.
