Ishpreet wins National Sub-Junior Snooker title
Kolkata, Jan 6 (IBNS): Ishpreet Chadha of Maharashtra did full justice to his talent, picking up the National Sub-Junior Snooker title at the BRC Gloster National Billiards & Snooker Championship.
In a one-sided final, he beat Shobhit Sethi of Punjab in straight frames 46-42, 71-31, 67-04 points.
The promising Mumbai lad, who has been groomed by Arun Agarwal, the former World Number 7 Billiards Player, was sighting the balls perfectly from the start.
Potting the balls with immaculate precision, and calculated ball positioning, Ishpreet pocketed the first frame narrowly.
Once Ishpreet had won the frame on the deciding black ball, he was all over the table in the next two frames.
Shobhit seemed to wilt under pressure and could do nothing of note subsequently. Ishpreet winning the match in style in his customary fluent manner.
