India's mixed badminton team win gold at CWG

Gold Coast, Apr 9 (IBNS): Continuing India's rush for gold, country's mixed badminton team won the gold medal at the Commonwealth Games here on Monday.

Creating history in this edition of the CWG, India won the first gold medal in the  mixed team badminton event.

India defeated Malaysia in its way to clinch the yellow medal.

Malaysia were the defending champions.
