BWF World Championships: HS Prannay loses to Thailand's Kunlavut Vitidsarn to clinch bronze

Copenhagen: HS Prannoy suffered a narrow defeat in a close match in the men's singles semi-final against Thailand’s Kunlavut Vitidsarn at the BWF World Championships on Saturday in Denamark's capital Copenhagen. Prannoy will take home the championship bronze medal.

The first set was a rather one-sided affair as Prannoy sealed a 21-18 win and appeared to be in a better form.

But in the second game, Vitidsarn made a solid comeback and won it 21-13. 

In the last and third set, Prannoy's continued to make errors, allowing his Thai opponent a 21-14 victory over him.
