B Sai Praneeth wins Singapore Open Super Series

Singapore, Apr 16 (IBNS): B Sai Praneeth clinched the Singapore Open Super Series by defeating compatriot Kidambi Srikanth in the final match on Sunday.

Praneeth won the title by beating his opponent  17-21, 21-17, 21-12.

Coming from behind, Praneeth lifted the title by beating the opponent player in 54 minutes.

Congratulating him, Indian badminton star Parupalli Kashyap‏ tweeted: "Congratulations @saiprneeth92 !! and well done @srikidambi !! #superstars @BAI_Media #SingaporeSS."

Badminton player Jwala Gutta posted: "Wowwwww @saiprneeth92 I always believed u were one of the best.thank u for making us proud.keep going higher n higher!its just d beginning !"
