Tremor felt in WB, Bihar today, India loses 72 lives so far
New Delhi, Apr 27 (IBNS): As fresh tremor jolted parts of West Bengal and Bihar on Monday, two days after a massive earthquake devastated Nepal, India has recorded 72 deaths so far.
Bihar has been the most hit with 57 deaths being recorded.
Uttar Pradesh has recorded 12 deaths while two people were killed in the eastern state of West Bengal.
Meanwhile, nine people have died in Sikkim and Rajasthan recorded seven deaths.
Fresh tremors also rocked Kathmandu in Nepal, where the death toll from Saturday's massive earthquake has reached 4000 so far.
About 7100 people were injured in Nepal earthquake.
Thousands of people are still camped outside in Nepal's capital Kathmandu, huddled under makeshift tents. Food, water and fuel are running scarce.
Relief and rescue operations were stepped up on Monday.
