‘Don’t daydream about my bedroom’: Kangana Ranaut fires back at Ramdev over ‘Gen Z’ row
New Delhi/IBNS: Actor and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Kangana Ranaut has hit back at yoga guru Ramdev after he criticised her controversial 'Gen Z' remark and questioned her "past deeds".
What did Ramdev say?
Ranaut shared a screenshot of Ramdev's comment on Instagram, in which he questioned her younger days.
The screenshot showed Ramdev asking, "What were her past deeds like, and what was her youth like?"
Ranaut responded by advising the yoga guru not to speculate about her personal life.
Kangana Ranaut hits back
Taking a dig at Ramdev, Ranaut also referred to the Supreme Court's action against Patanjali Ayurved over misleading advertisements.
"Baba ji, don't daydream about my jawani (youth) or bedroom. One can only assume based on rumours and gossip. At least mujhe kabhi Supreme Court se fatkar nahi lagi (At least the Supreme Court has never named me in a case) for false/fraud efficacy claims based on hard facts, not some gossip or assumptions..." Ranaut wrote.
She added, "So don't give me character lessons. Tumse toh bahut zayada behtar hai mera character (My character is much better than yours). No fraud detected here."

What is the 'Generation Gutter' controversy?
Ranaut sparked controversy in July 2026 after criticising young protesters associated with the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP)-led movement over the NEET-UG issue.
She described some of the protesters as "Generation Gutter" and questioned their behaviour and values.
Ranaut later faced backlash over comments targeting some young women, including remarks concerning freedom, drugs, drinking and relationships.
