New Delhi, Mar 3 (IBNS) Expressing delight at arrested JNUSU leader Kanhaiya Kumar's interim bail, which was granted to him by Delhi High Court on Wednesday, Kumar's brother was quoted in the media as sating that this is just half the win.

"This is half the win, I am sure he will be acquitted of all the charges," Kumar's brother said.

He also said, "We have seen how the tapes were all fake and there was no proof against my brother. I am happy with the bail."

Kumar was arrested first on sedition charges after anti-India slogans were raised inside the JNU campus at an event allegedly glorifying Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru.

The Delhi High Court granted him bail on a surety of Rs 10,000 on Wednesday. He is likely to walk free today.
