Tamil Nadu election : Karunanidhi to seek re-election from Tiruvarur, file nomination on Apr 25

Chennai, Apr 12 (IBNS) DMK chief M Karunanidhi will file nomination from Tiruvarur constituency on April 25 for upcoming TN Assembly polls, reports said.

This is the second time that he is contesting from Tiruvarur.

After filing nomination, the nonagenarian leader will  tour all other districts. He will come back to Tiruvarur and is expected to spend two or three days in his native place before returning to Chennai.

 In 2011 elections, Karunanidhi had the highest winning margin of his political career with more than 50,000 votes.
