President returns to Delhi after southern sojourn

New Delhi, Dec 31 (IBNS) President Pranab Mukherjee returned to Delhi on Thursday from Secunderabad after a fourteen day southern sojourn, officials said.

The President will receive New Year greetings from dignitaries and general public as well as officials of Rashtrapati Bhavan on Jan 1.

"On January 4, 2016, the President will administer the Oath of Office to Chief Information Commissioner designate Shri RK Mathur," read an official statement.
