President Mukherjee wishes Bahrain ahead of the country's National Day

New Delhi, Dec 15 (IBNS) President Pranab Mukherjee on Tuesday extended his greetings and felicitations to the King and people of the Kingdom of Bahrain on the eve of their National Day.

In a message to  King Hamad bin lsa Al-Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the President has said, “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, I have great pleasure in extending warm greetings and felicitations to Your Majesty and the people of the Kingdom of Bahrain on the occasion of your National day."

"The close and friendly relations between India and Bahrain, based on our cultural and economic exchanges over millennia, have, in the recent years, developed into a close and mutually beneficial partnership. I am confident that our multifaceted bilateral cooperation will continue to diversify and strengthen in the years to come," Mukherjee said.

He said: "I take this opportunity to convey to Your Majesty my best wishes for your personal good health and well-being, as also for the continued progress and prosperity of the friendly people of the Kingdom of Bahrain.”
